I’ve said posting wouldn’t been affected by this week’s first exploration of Silicon Valley’s network. It was not that easy, as you can see. A large amount of meetings, a lot of new ideas flowing, a lot of reporting to do, some meetings that have failed. All a new landscape to discover. That has changed the game and it has not been possible to write a single post on social media. But this week-end should ring my blogging bell and I assume tomorrow would be another tough day, but this time because of the amount of blog post I have to write and the incredible number of news feed I have to catch up with. See you around. Read More
Tomorrow is my first round of meetings in San Francisco. I’d be meeting some interesting people from Orb.com, SixApart, and Netvibes. The reason I’m meeting these companies is I’m in need of feedbacks about the future release of an online tool to help companies (startups) connect with their consumers and leverage the community global brain and also tips and hints to develop our company in the USA, especially in the Silicon Valley since it would certainly be the main customers pool for the year to come. If you’ve any question I should relay to these companies, drop me a line and I would do it. I’ll keep you updated about what has been said during these meetings. Read More
After having set some meetings with people in the Silicon Valley, I’m flying to San Francisco tomorrow. If any readers are willing to get together for a drink, just let me know (you will find my contacts in the about page). Posting won’t be affected by this trip (I hope) and you’ll find here some video interviews (I should use a Video player). Read More
Tomorrow is the first step for the company I work for to extend our market overseas to reach the US market (I’m working for a Paris, France, based startup, and we’re aiming to startups market with our online community management software). My boss and I are attending Face Paris, French American conference of Entrepreneurs, aiming at sharing knowledge between French and US companies regarding the best practices to develop business overseas. It would be my rookie round speaking about the product we are developing for this specific business area and deal with some “elevator pitches” — thanks Guy Kawasaky for that. This is quite a different thing from having conference calls or marketing project management issues to deal with US clients and I’m a bit (over)excited. The next step would be to fly to NYC then SF to visit the most people I can to discuss about the product we’d release in a few months. If you’re willing to meet and discuss about social media and community management tools, I’d be glad to come and visit you (feel free to send me an email or drop a comment). More about our company and our product in the coming weeks (and still majority of articles regarding Social Media, obviously) and who I’m going to visit. That’s now the story starts! Read More
