Blogs have publicly shown themselves in 2004 and since then the blogosphere has grown fast. Technorati, the blog search enging, has been one of the growth pillar engaging people in searching through all the blogs, listing them, and providing relevant data on that personal media use. 4 years after this new tool to generate online content has turned mass market, we see it reaching maturity and going professional with famous people blogging and web celebrities turning celebrities. Here are some facts and figures from this year Techorati study on blogs.
2 major facts are to be highlighted: blogs are spreading fast and constantly but less than 12% are frequently updates (at least one update within 3 months) and among bloggers 12% are corporate bloggers when 46% are professional ones.
