Developing our brand overseas = Tomorrow is the first step
Tomorrow is the first step for the company I work for to extend our market overseas to reach the US market (I’m working for a Paris, France, based startup, and we’re aiming to startups market with our online community management software). My boss and I are attending Face Paris, French American conference of Entrepreneurs, aiming at sharing knowledge between French and US companies regarding the best practices to develop business overseas. It would be my rookie round speaking about the product we are developing for this specific business area and deal with some “elevator pitches” — thanks Guy Kawasaky for that. This is quite a different thing from having conference calls or marketing project management issues to deal with US clients and I’m a bit (over)excited. The next step would be to fly to NYC then SF to visit the most people I can to discuss about the product we’d release in a few months. If you’re willing to meet and discuss about social media and community management tools, I’d be glad to come and visit you (feel free to send me an email or drop a comment). More about our company and our product in the coming weeks (and still majority of articles regarding Social Media, obviously) and who I’m going to visit. That’s now the story starts!
